Your Emergency Vet in Pasadena
At Spencer Animal Hospital, we’re able to provide emergency vet care to pets with urgent care needs during our regular business hours. Emergency situations can be a stressful time, but you can rely on our experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to give you and your pet the critical care they need. However, we are not a 24-hour facility, so if you need urgent pet care after-hours, please contact our emergency referral hospital.
How Do I Know if My Pet Needs Urgent Care?
Not all emergency situations are obvious. Here is a list of common instances where your pet would need emergency vet care:
- Traumatic injury (such as being hit by a car or falling from a great height)
- Vomiting/diarrhea for more than 24 hours
- Blood in vomit, urine, or stool
- Eye injuries
- Ingested foreign object
- Ingestion of a known toxic substance
If you are ever concerned about your pet’s well-being, please call us at 281-476-0066 for advice from our knowledgeable staff about what to do next. Or contact our emergency referral hospital after-hours.
